Walking Across Europe is superb so get on your walking boots to see the region at its very best and really get away from it all.
First of all, you should be in good health and with a reasonable level of fitness. If you chose a long distance walking holidays, you should practise and prepare for that in advance. In the weeks leading up to your holiday the most pleasurable way to ensure this is to go for a few walks. Make sure that your footwear is comfortable. If you bought new boots for your walking holiday, worn them on several walks beforehand – nothing spoils a walking holiday more than sore feet!
