Walking Across Europe is superb so get on your walking boots to see the region at its very best and really get away from it all.
This 9-night walking holiday leads you on an independent adventure along Sicily’s stunning eastern coast, taking in some of the islands’ most precious jewels: from the spectacular Greek Theatre of Taormina to the immense and impressive Mount Etna – the largest active volcano in Europe!
One of the best things about the islands of Sicily is that there are lots of opportunities to hop between the extremely varied landscapes of the Aeolian Islands.
Panoramic coastal footpaths; dramatic lava trails; natural bubbling mud baths make for some very interesting walks and the beautiful and fascinating scenery doesn’t stop there; Sulphurous smouldering green craters, molten red lava skies, black sand beaches, secluded bays all complete one of the most spectacular place to visit in not only Italy but possibly the world.
Wonderfully varied hotels run by proud and passionate people allow you to really rest up for the forthcoming days adventures.
Guided excursions up Etna and Stromboli are also included.
